ABOUT US

John ... a qualified tradesman with 40 years experience in the residential industry.  After completing his apprenticeship with J.R Webb & Son 1932 Ltd  (who are still operating) he successfully went on to work for himself and has done so ever since.  Johns your classic old fashioned Tradesman, listening to the clients requirements, helping with advice and most importantly paying attention to a quality finish at an affordable price.  Preparation is the key to a quality job, that's his mantra ... prep prep prep!

Diana ... John's partner of 40 years is now an integral part of the business since they moved permanently from Papamoa Beach to Whangamata in March 2020. Di's previous careers as a PA/EA and Office Management bodes well for HDS.  Di is in charge of all the important administration side of things such as sending quotes, invoicing, doing the book work, client liaison plus all the marketing and publicity to keep things ticking over. Di is also now helping out with some of the decorating processes and of course being trained by her mentor and partner John.

Whangamata has been big part of John & Di's lives since they were kids.  Both their parents lived here for many years, they had a section back in the 80's and hence their children have spent every school holiday, long weekend and Christmas in this coastal paradise.  It's always been their second home but now they are proud to say they are settled here in their forever home and loving it.
